In the summer of 2014, long-time musical collaborators Nate Waggoner and Ben Gibson moved from Las Vegas to Utah and partnered up with Connor Foshee to form Grizzly Goat, and in 2015 were joined by Alex Vincent. The band soon put out their EP “Boring Converstaion Anyway”. Scott Monson was added on drums shortly thereafter, with Connor Foshee’ switching over to bare the burden of bass.

Grizzly started to tour sporadically and on the heels of releasing their 2016 full-length album, “Ursus Oreamnos Americanus” they embarked on their first cross country tour. It was a massive success (they felt, as they ended the tour with $1500 in their bank account after 2.5 weeks). The Goats had caught the bug and have toured, as much as they could, ever since.

Connor left the band in early 2017 and was replaced (part time) by Aspen Hassell-soon-to-be-Aspen Dalton. Grizzly amped up their touring and released their most recent album “Burning the Prairie” in March of 2018 to wide acclaim by their friends, family, and a few fans.

Grizzly Goat has has supported Greensky Bluegrass, River Whyless, Town Mountain, Jamestown Revival, and Brett Dennen, along with playing at festivals such as Treefort Music Festival, Mayesfest, and Seven Sense Fest. They have also toured in nationally visiting 18 states.

Performing at The Embers, 7-10pm.
